Pepper muffins

Tortine ai peperoni olio di semi di mais Piave


For these delicious pepper muffins is really worth turning on the oven. They are so soft and fluffy that will be devoured in a second!


  • 4 anchovy fillets
  • 25g capers
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100ml milk
  • 10g baking powder
  • 100g grated cheese
  • 200g red and yellow peppers
  • 80g provola cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Cooking time: 20 minutes
Makes 12 muffins

Cooking instructions

1. Peel and Grill the peppers.

2. Beat the eggs with the milk using a whisk and add Benvolio corn oil, salt and pepper to taste.

3. Keep mixing everything and slowly add the flour, baking powder and the grated cheese.

4. Now add the chopped peppers, chopped anchovy fillets, capers and diced provolone stirring well.

5. Distribute the mixture into muffin molds and bake at 180°C for 35 minutes or until they are beautifully golden.

6. Let cool a bit and serve warm.

To simplify the recipe, you can use the already grilled peppers.
